  1. theseventhprotocol says:

Derek is Duane reincarnated ! It’s in his genes.

  2. billinhp says:

wow all this vitriol amongst fans – i thought they looked they were having a blast playing together on a great tune – and ec gets to play a song he seldom gets to play the way it was originally done since duane only played three gigs with the dominoes – oh well – i kind of think these guys like one another -

  3. lesguit78 says:

    Duane reincarnated

  4. dagoninfinite says:

Fat boyo trucks plays good guitar, he’s nowhere near as talented a composer as eric was in his prime though. Eric’s finished too. His last album’s crap of the year.

  5. jkryanspark says:

It’s so nice to hear shades of Duane Allman in a modern day guitarist. Derek, obviously listened to his father Butch’s records and probably to hours of stories of the legendary late Brother. Now, with a mushroom tattooed on his ankle, he is taking his place among the elite. And EC gets better with each passing year.

  6. 5150OU81219 says:

the best thing about all this arguing is that everyone is talking big just cause its on the internet…how sad

  7. dankgeetar says:

Some people are born to play… others are born to argue about the playing

  8. ebay9302 says:

Your taste in music is disgusting and Clapton and trucks suck and sleep with each other. How’s that girlyboy? Next time you try to squeeze the “Bluesman” you will get your face caved in and go to the hospital. Any questions…PUNK

  12. Aegis90 says:

@ebay9302 What an overinterpretation of EC’s louder output. Please give some examples on other concerts where EC buries the other guitarist. He rarely have guitar inter plays with the other guitarist like this so that narrows your search a lot. Good luck

  13. chris111111ish says:

@ebay9302 when and where d bag clapton is god derek is in his prime very true daaaaaaaaa///

  14. ebay9302 says:

  15. chris111111ish says:

    @ebay9302 eat shit and die

  16. hungerstriker27 says:

ok…. i think eric is god…. but damn…. dereck is a genious…. people always compre him to joe bonamassa. ím a joe´s fan…. but joe it´s an incredible performer… but he dont improvise this

  17. hungerstriker27 says:

i´ve owned a strat a tele a jag an lp an es 335,,,, i never like the sg… then i saw dereck

  18. letterbekmen says:

Eric is such a juxtaposition of blues. He started out as a jazz guy with Cream ( kicked ass) and somehow became a big bluesguy (as a Brit) his strat sounds anything but a strat, like the tone is always rolled down, also a bit buddy on the solo

  19. ebay9302 says:

Hopefully Derek will stay close to his roots. Many great young players forget that and end up sucking. He doesn’t seem to have a big ego….YET….he could be the best thing since sliced bread. Clapton? He doesn’t have it anymore on guitar, good thing he can still sing. But what a Fat Ass, a real arrogant SOB! That’s one alcoholic that should start drinking again. When you see a fat old hack like Vince Gill out play him you know it’s time to just put it down and rent a wheel chair!

  20. theatlantisrise says:

@ebay9302 Eric is definitely a narcissist, but he certainly can play (not saying he belongs on blues’ Mt. Rushmore though), and his singing voice is fantastic. I agree that a real gentleman who knows he’s being outplayed turns his volume down…Derek’s just started to hit his potential though, this was 07, you gotta hear stuff from his most recent tour, he absolutely TEARS IT UP!

  21. ebay9302 says:

Check out how much louder EC is through most of this…and distorted, while Derek totally kicks his ass, especially with tone. EGO MANIAC and if one goes back through time and listens he almost always makes sure his volume buries the other guitarist. If that arrogant prick asked me to play I would hand him my dick! Spoken by: “The Bluesman” and spoken well….

  22. ebay9302 says:

dont ever tels me wut to say jirk! i dose and says wut ever i wonts! you mothire fokers! stik it op you ass priks!!!!!!!!

  23. ebay9302 says:

Clapton started his downhill decent when he lost Albert Lee to Emmylou Harris. Every record and every performance since has been worse and worse. He’s like a 65 year old playing professional sports….give it up “Chump”. Let these young and great musicians do “their” thing and you get your old tired ego driven ass out of their way. Start boozing again and maybe you’ll get a deal in your own rehab facility; once a drunk, always a drunk! Please, for the love of God and my ears! Yep “The Bluesman”

  24. ebay9302 says:

Derek has two big things keeping him from being that BIG. He is a great player….BUT….he doesn’t sing and he way over plays most of the time, that is a big NO NO in the “blues” business. He sounds great in this song but he just doesnt know how to put space between his notes. Remember this, the time when you don’t play is just as important as the time you do play, so he lacks half of the art. Spoken well by the one, the only “The Bluesman” from Atlanta. YA, YA, YA BABY!

  25. theatlantisrise says:

@ebay9302 I agree with that Clapton is horribly egotistic. His feel has almost gotten worse with age, and he’s stuck playing the same licks in tunes where they dont fit at all. But he is definitely blues legend for his original contributions to music and for his genuine love of the blues. Still, nobody could convince me that Trucks isn’t the most exciting and most skilled player alive today making records. He’ll go down as the greatest of all-time, bar none in my opinion.

  26. luckyogrodnick says:

Could someone give me names of those music tracks?

  27. amdsemprom says:

    @alfonyare andan fuerte los guachos

  28. DiggermanNo1 says:

@MrAndrius12, Well it doesn’t really matter if I am a lair or not because it is well documented that they have repaired their trucks when in ‘parc ferme’, which under the FIA rules is illegal, however they have been allowed to do it without punishment. This is the reason that although the Tatra trucks were a less powerful and slower it was much more reliable and in the end would win because Kamaz ran out of spare parts. Its all well known Dakar history – look it up sometime.

  29. MrAndrius12 says:
